The property is situated about 400 feet above sea level with uninterrupted views over National Trust land to the sea at Seacombe Bay (a 15-20 min walk). From the stile near the house the Priest’s Way footpath leads to the seaside town and blue flag beaches of Swanage and to the walks down to the South West Coast Path and the sea.
The Studio is formed from the rear wing of the main house, Abbots Way. A luxurious getaway for those seeking coastal peace and tranquillity. Recently renovated, the Studio has been transformed into a luxurious open plan property, featuring an orangery which offers a relaxing light and airy living space from which to enjoy the outstanding country and sea views, overlooking the Jurassic coast. A feature wood-burner adds warmth and ambience for a romantic evening in. The new modern kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hob, fridge/freezer and dishwasher, a separate utility room has a washing machine and microwave oven. The family sized bathroom offers a luxury bath & shower suite. There is under-floor heating throughout with oak flooring. Heating and hot water are supplied by eco Air Source heat pump. A large private garden with sea views, table, chairs and sun-loungers. Well behaved dogs welcome, please note the garden is securely fenced, but livestock are grazing in adjacent fields.
Worth Matravers is a pretty Purbeck stone village located about 4 miles South of Corfe Castle and 3 miles West of Swanage, set in an area of outstanding natural beauty and overlooking the World Heritage stretch of coastline. The area is popular with walkers, nature lovers, fishermen and cyclists. Worth Matravers has an unspoilt popular pub called the Square & Compass, a 5 minute walk from the property. Not to be missed is, the Worth Tea & Supper Rooms, which offer wonderful lunches and suppers, using fresh locally sourced produce in a vintage setting.

Swanage is a coastal town in south east Dorset, England. It is located in the Isle Of Purbeck not far from Langton Matravers, Studland, Wool, Sandbanks, and Poole and is one of over 130 towns and villages in Dorset in which Go2 has cottages or holidays lets available. The closest cities are Salisbury (population 43,355), Southampton (population 234,224), and Portsmouth (which has a population of 187,056 according to the 2001 Census).
Once a small fishing port Swanage grew into a popular tourist destination in Victorian times and continues as such today, with visitors attracted by the beaches and many other attractions in the area.
